When I came home from work on Tuesday, the kids thrust a Jango Fett helmet at me and said, "Pick." I pulled out a piece of paper and it read, "Big."
They were very diplomatically drawing to see who among us got a "big" cornish hen and who got a "small" one. They all looked about the same size to me, but the kids were obviously VERY hungry.
Warren made a sorrell vinaigrette marinade from our Whitton Farms CSA.
He also made sauteed turnip and radish greens with some fresh tomatoes.
FInally, he roasted a little bit of everything else we got in this week's CSA--shitakes, turnips, radishes, carrots, and potatoes.
YUM.
