After the Kombucha fermented for a few weeks, it was time to bottle it. Warren added a little sugar to each bottle to so it would have some fizz. (He's going to have to update his own blog if he wants truly technical terms in here!) The kids excitedly helped with the bottling process and went on and on about how they couldn't wait to drink it.
Today they finally got a taste. Satchel declared it delicious but Jiro was less enthusiastic. Warren and I agree that it tastes a lot like Palm Wine which was a part of Warren's daily diet in Cameroon. For those not familiar with Palm Wine, think slightly fizzy and extra sweet saki.
