After some prodding and hint dropping from some of my fellow bloggers, I decided to suck it up and invite everyone over for pizza last night. I figured it would force me to finally start unpacking some of the random boxes still living in the diningroom and finally put some stuff up in the attic.
When I told Warren about my plan, he said, "There's a few recipes I want to try out in the new Gourmet."
Sweet.
So pizza became Chicken Tikkas, Cilantro Mint Chumney, grilled asparagus, rice, salad, and Rhubarb Strawberry Pudding Cake.
Warren made a less spicy version of the chicken tikkas and hot dogs for the kids. I heard one complaint about the hot dog "tasting burnt" and a request for a peanut butter sandwich, but for the most part, I'd say that the thirteen people who got a taste of the inaugural meal from the new kitchen stadium, went home happy.

Very.
Happy and full. Chip had seconds on dessert, which is unheard of. Thanks!
It was delicious! With entirely appropriate dinner conversation, as always!
Nice blog, it is well written and knowledgeable. I appreciate it. I bookmarked this blog further more information. Recently I eat very tasty and spicy chicken tikkas from Lunch Catering Calgary. It is one of my sweet memories of lunch, I can never forget it's taste.
