Sonoran Dogs & Fajitas

We first learned of the Sonoran Dog during an episode of Man vs. Food. We planned to roll through Arizona this summer and pick one up, but after the Sterns did a full hot dog feature in this week's Parade magazine, Warren had to have one. The Sonoran dog is a bacon wrapped hot dog in a bolillo roll topped with pinto beans, grilled anaheim pepper, mustard, mayo, and tomatoes. And not that I have to tell you, but it's awesome. We went out to the La Fiesta Market on Macon to get the rolls and couldn't resist getting some fajita meat too. So we had Sonoran Dogs AND fajitas for dinner. Don't worry, we grilled a little squash to balance everything out. (ha!)

Next up, Warren stuffs a pepper with a bacon wrapped hot dog!
