Creole Shrimp & Grits
The creole shrimp and grits is a recipe from an ad in our very last issue of Gourmet. (Sniff.) Warren also made the Scarlet Carrot soup elsewhere in the magazine. Both were fantastic. I was partial to the grits which were made from roasted hominy, whipped cream, butter, and aged cheddar cheese!!
