Soya! Soya! Soya!
Warren has been charged with bringing an "ethnic" food item to his Thursday night class. Someone called dibs on sushi, so he decided to do something Cameroonian. He made soya a few years ago, but wasn't 100% sure what he did so he made a test run on Sunday night, much to our delight. The soya is just thinly sliced meat with crushed peanuts and a little red pepper. The best market food ever! (Well, next to giant grilled tilapia, that is.)
The hard part is getting the accompanying rice pancakes right. This batch tasted more like regular pancakes, so he's been experimenting with different recipes hoping to get it just right for his teacher. I can't wait to taste the results!

So we get some for the next CH, right?
Screw rice pancakes, I want mung bean pancakes--best street vendor food ever.
