Mochi Ice Cream

Mochi ice cream contains the same outer shell as manju, but it is a much more exciting treat in that the inside is filled with ice cream rather than red bean paste.

We have purchased mochi ice cream at the Asian store before, but I have to say that it doesn't compare to Warren's. Even though he wasn't happy with the shape (I wasn't home to help him), the taste was undeniably good.

He flavored the mochi so that it was chocolatey and filled it with the best commercially packaged ice cream on the planet, Breyer's triple chocolate.
